NEIGRIHMS was established by the Government of India in 1987. It has been designed as a Postgraduate Medical Institute in lineage of AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. It is the First Postgraduate Medical Institute in the North Eastern Region and the Third in the Country established by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Post : Project Scientist-1 (Non- Medical)
Walk in interview for recruitment of Project Scientist I (Non-Medical) and Project Technical Support -I under the ICMR project entitled “Influenza vaccine to reduce cardiovascular events in patients with recent myocardial infraction: a multi-centric randomized, double blinded, double blind, placebo -controlled trial”
Essential Qualifications : First Class Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG degrees OR Second class Post Graduate Degree with PhD
Desirable : 1. Working experience in cardiology research.
2. Good communication skills in Khasi, Hindi in addition to English Language.
3. Knowledge in computer application
Emoluments : Rs. 56000/- plus admissible HRA
Other important information
1. All the posts are purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project.
2. The appointment will initially be for a period of six months which may be renewable every six months subject to satisfactory performance
3. Candidates have to appear in the walk in interview along with an application in standard format and CV in plain paper giving details of all educational qualifications and relevant experience
4. Candidates must bring along all relevant documents related to their qualifications and experience in original. The candidates not producing the original certificates at the time of interview will not be considered for the interview.
5. Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in the interview
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
7. The decision of the selection committee will be final
