Work as Research Intern at National Institute of Immunology

The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is committed to advanced research addressing the basic mechanisms involved in body's defence to identify modalities for manipulation of the immune system to provide protection against diseases and understand mechanisms that can be used to target disease processes for intervention.

Post : Research Intern (Under SERB-SSR Head)

Name of the Project : “Molecular basis for the function of protein tyrosine phosphatase SHP2” funded by SERB
Duration : Two Months (May 2024 – June 2024)

Educational Qualifications : Students of M.Sc./M.Tech (Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Chemical Sciences) in the first year or Integrated Master’s degree/B.Tech students in their third year of their degrees are encouraged to apply
Desirable : The preference will be given to candidates who have background knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Molecular Biology, Protein biochemistry, Structural Biology, and Bioinformatics

Job Description : The research intern will perform cloning, and over expression of proteins along with bioinformatic analysis.
Emoluments : Rs. 5,000/- per month (Fixed)
