The institute completed its 100 years in 2019, and we wish to take forward the legacy with rejuvenated vigor and sheer dedication with a commitment to nation building. The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi owes its existence to Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of the first residential University of modern India, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), who could foresee the vital role of technical education in strengthening independent India. Engineering education in BHU started in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO).

Applications are invited with a Fellowship of Fixed amount of Rs. 25,000/- pm for first 02 years & Rs. 28,000/- pm for 3rd year in a Council of Science & Technology, U.P. Sponsored Project entitled “Public awareness about prevention of metabolic syndrome and assessment of Prevailing, Cardiac problem of the society”, sanctioned up to 3 year. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. Computer Sciences / Biochemistry / Zoology / Statistics / M.Pharma. / B.Tech Computer Sciences. Desirable qualifications :
1) Preference will be given to those candidates who are eligible to get Ph.D. registration in BHU, as per University rules.
2) Preference will be given who have temperament to do field work and have good knowledge of data analysis and computing.
The upper Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
