Post : Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) - 01 Post
Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) in a time-bound research project sponsored by the ICMR (Project No. EMDR/SG/13/2023-6880) for a temporary period purely on contractual basis as per the following details.
Project Title : Design, synthesis, and evaluation of novel dual inhibitors of dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPPIV) and Neprilysin for the treatment of diabetes
Funding Agency : Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
Principal Investigator (PI) : Prof. Hemant Jadhav, Professor, Department of Pharmacy
Project Tenure : 36 Months
Job Description : The Project Research Scientist I will be involved in the in silico design of DPPIV and NEP dual inhibitors, synthesize the designed compounds and evaluate the DPPIV and NEP inhibition in vitro and in vivo.
Qualification : First class in M.Pharm/ M.S. (Pharm.) in Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized University + GATE/NET/GPAT qualified.
Upper Age Limit : Age not exceeding 35 years as of the date of the interview.
Fellowship : 56,000 Per Month + 9% HRA (Subject to HRA Rules & Regulations)
Registration for PhD.: Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the PhD program of BITS Pilani subject to fulfilling the requirements of the PhD qualification process as per the institute norms.
