National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata, is an Institute of National importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. NIPER Kolkata has established Centre for Marine therapeutics (CMT), and is involved in development of new process for Marine Therapeutics, New Chemical Entity (NCE) from Marine sources.
Applications are hereby invited for the recruitment for the following post at this Institute purely on temporary basis for a period of 1 (one) year and it could be extended based on performance of the candidate.
Research Associate - II
No. of Positions : 01
Upper Age limit (Yr) : 35
Educational Qualification : Ph.D awarded (organic / medicinal chemistry). Should have experience (06 months or more) in synthesis of chiral molecules, multi-step synthesis/synthesis of API / Total synthesis of natural products. Should be well versed in analytical techniques and interpretation of analytical data
Salary : 49,000/- + HRA
Project Technical Officer
No. of Positions : 01
Upper Age limit (Yr) : 30
Educational Qualification : Masters in organic, medicinal, analytical, natural product chemistry, or related area. Should have expertise in organic synthesis and use of analytical instruments such as LC-Mass, GC- Mass, HPLC etc.
Salary : 32,000/-
Job requirement : The candidate should design, synthesize the Chiral API molecules, natural products in laboratory, write manuscripts for scientific publications, and perform other assigned research work.
Date of the Interview : The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email about the interview date and time.
Terms and conditions :
1. The above position is purely contractual for a period of 1 year.
2. Selected candidate will not be entitled to claim for regular appointment/absorption in the institute.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
