NIAB, an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focus is on animal genetics and genomics, transgenesis, stem cell & its applications, reproductive biotechnology, infectious diseases, nanotechnology, bioinformatics and Nutrigenomics. The Institute aims at translational research leading to genetic enhancement of Indian Livestock species and basic research towards development of novel vaccines, diagnostics and improved therapeutic molecules for farm animals.

Walk-in interview for One position of Project Associate-I for project funded by Heka Pharma private limited and entitled “In vitro evaluation of immunogenicity of three NDV vaccines” of Dr. Madhuri Subbiah (PI) for a period of six months only.
Fellowship amount : Rs. 31,000/- + 27% HRA for those with NET and Rs 25,000/- + 27% HRA for eligible others without NET as per DST guidelines.
Eligibility : Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M.Pharm / M.Tech in Life Sciences / M.V.Sc. etc.) or Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology) with NET or GATE or any other national level examination as per DST guidelines and with research experiences in cell culture and viral assays.
Upper Age limit : 35 years
Interested eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interview scheduled on 25-04-2023 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology.
Candidates must carry original copies of documents in support of their date of birth, educational qualifications, resume and experience certificates.
