ICMR-NARI is located at Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. Since its inception the Institute has ably supported the National AIDS Control Programme, especially in the areas of surveillance, capacity building, laboratory services and drug resistance studies. ICMR-NARI derives strength from wide ranging National and International Collaborations. The Institutes research activities are guided by a Scientific Advisory Committee which includes eminent scientists from varied disciplines. All research projects are reviewed and approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee, which ensures that a research activities are conducted maintaining highest ethical standards.

Essential Qualification : Graduate in Life Science / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry or relevant subjects with five years’ work experience from the recognized institution Or Master’s degree in relevant subjects
Desirable Qualification : M.SC in life Sciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry or relevant subjects with 2 year experience of working in a molecular diagnostic laboratory or accredited labs will be preferred
Ph.D in the relevant subjects
Job Responsibilities :
• Routinely perform HIV Viral Load testing as per SOP under the project.
• Develop SOP and other relevant documents/tools as per the project requirements.
• Ensure all documentation as per the guidelines.
• Report generation and dispatch within turnaround time
• Management and analysis of data as per the project requirement.
• Storage and maintenance of samples and equipment.
• Flexible to working hours according to the availability of the machine and demands of the project.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by HOD/PI
Consolidated Salary : Rs 35000/-pm only
It is mandatory : Age and experience is relaxable in deserving cases.
