Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This Creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916 with cooperation of great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was d under the Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915. It played a stellar role in the independence movement and has developed into the greatest center of learning in India. It has produced many great freedom fighters and builders of modern India and has immensely contributed to the progress of the nation through a large number of renowned scholars, artists, scientists and technologists who have graced its portals.
Applications are invited for the following temporary posts (contractual basis). Appointments will be initially for six months, renewable depending upon the requirement, performance of the candidate and/or the continuation of the project/scheme.
Post : SRF
Emolument : 35,000/- p.m. +16% HRA
Essential qualification :
• Masters degree in Biochemistry with at least 55% marks
• NET / GATE qualified
• At least 2 years of research experience, preferably in the areas of platelet biology and/or thrombosis
Desirable qualification / Experience : Publications in peer-reviewed and indexed journals of repute in the relevant areas
Upper Age limit : 32 years (5 years relaxation for Female / SC / ST / Physically Handicapped,and 3 years for OBC Candidates)
