Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following project based position.
Project title : “ Nanoherbicide: A controlled release formulation to improve rice production”
Fellowship : Rs. 47,000/- + HRA@16% per month
Eligibility : Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Chemistry / Pharmaceutical sciences. Experience in preparation and characterization of nanoparticles, handling mammalian cell culture and cell biology techniques are required. Candidates having first author publication in peer reviewed journal in above subject areas will be given preference during screening stage. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are waiting for viva voce may also apply. For such candidates, fellowship amount will be that of a SRF until he/she defends Ph.D. thesis.
Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an online interview process.
