SECR is situated in the heartland of Central India & serving the states of Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and Maharastra, with proud privilege. This Railway plays a paramount role in the transportation of Minerals and Coals to different Power Plants & Industrial Units all over the country. Performance of SECR over last eight consecutive financial years has been appreciated. The main commodities being transported are Coal, Iron & Steel, iron ore, cement and fertilizers.

Post : Pharmacist

In view of the exigencies related with the COVID-19 pandemic and in view of adequate preparedness, it has been decided to engage paramedical staff for the post as mentioned below on contract basis, for Central Hospital, South East Central Railway, Bilaspur.

Minimum Education/Professional/ Technical Qualification required : 10+2 in Science or its equivalent, with Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (OR) Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized University or equivalent and Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

Age Limit : 20-33 years

Medical Standard : C-2

Remuneration : Rs. 29200/- in Level-5 of 7TH CPC plus admissible allowances. Basic pay, DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, HPA etc. (if admissible)

NB
a) Since, the posts are over and above the sanctioned cadre due to the exigencies on temporary measure, no prescribed community distribution (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) is applicable. However age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD etc category as per extant rules. Age will be reckoned as on the date of notification.
b) The vacancy is provisional and may increase or decrease as per administrative necessity. There may be “wait-listed/stand-by" candidates against the notified panel/select list who may be engaged as per necessity.

Period of Contract : The engagement is purely on contractual basis for three months only. The service rendered as re-engagement/contract of Para-medical staff is an arrangement for meeting up the requirement of the pandemic situation and it will not confer any right for automatic regularization/ absorption in any circumstances. The full time para medical staff who enters into Contract/Re-engagement with the railways will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term Contract/Re-engagement. The Railway administration has full right reserved to discontinue contract/re-engagement at any stage. All other terms and condition as laid in Railway Board's letter No. E(NG)II/2005/RC/-4/SC/2 dated 31.03.2020 and other as mentioned from time to time shall be binding upon the Para-Medical staff.

NB : The interview may be extended to more than one day depending on number of applicants. No TA/DA/Accommodation will be provided to the candidates attending the interview.

Termination of Contract : During the period of contract either party (the Para-medical staff of Railway Administration) is free to terminate the contract on 15 days prior notice. In case the Para-medical staff is found physically or mentally invalid or incapacitated the contract can he terminated forthwith. However if Para-medical staff leaves without notice or before completion of 15 days notice. He-She shall be liable to pay the amount for the required period as per prevailing rates.

I. Two recent Passport size photographs (self- attested).
II. Educational/Technical/Professional qualification certificate from recognized institution.

V. Aadhar Card & PAN Card.

The detailed instruction with regard to the duties while in contract engagement in Railway shall be given to the contractual paramedical staff concerned in the event of selection along with the officer of engagement.

Appearance in the interview will not vest any right upon the candidates to be engaged as paramedical staff and no reasons will be cited or communication shall be made with the candidates in the event of candidates not getting selected.

Mode of selection will be walk-in-interview however in prevailing conditions of lockdown walk- in-interview will he conducted either in person or through online platforms like Whatsapp/skype etc. Tor mode of walk-in-interview with date and time, candidates will be informed by e-mail/phone. Candidates are requested to give their correct e-mail ID and phone number.
