National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kolkata (NIPER-K) was created in 2007 under the aegis of Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizer as a centre of excellence for higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences. This followed establishment of NIPER Mohali, which is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPERs are conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities to become a globally recognized brand.

Remuneration Maximum up to : Rs 55, 000/-pm. (to be determined as per experience/expertise

Age : 40 Yrs. (Relaxable for the SC/ST etc. as per norms)

Qualification and experience : M.Sc.in organic chemistry PhD in same field with sufficient expertise on the subject and also 2 years post PhD experience with publications in the relevant field in Peer review.

Job description : Isolation characterization and semi-synthetic modification of natural product and devolution of synthetic methodologies of molecules.

The candidates must bring their latest resume, one set of photocopy of documents' in support of their educational qualification and experience along with originals and a valid ID card for verification. Candidates coming after the time slot mentioned will not be entertained.
