The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai was established as the Department of Chemical Technology on 1st October 1933 by the University of Mumbai, through active support of industries and philanthropists. The Institute was most popularly known as UDCT, Mumbai. Research has been an integral part of ICT since its inception and it has created over 500 first generation entrepreneurs. The UDCT grew significantly in stature and was granted autonomy under UGC regulations by the University of Mumbai and further converted into an Institute on 26th January 2002. Under the World Bank TEQIP programme, the Maharashtra government granted it full autonomy in June 2004.

Project Title : Process Development of Bulk Drug Intermediates

Sponsor : Lasa Supergenerics    Ltd

Principal Investigation : Dr. Vikas N. Telvekar

Duration : Six Months

Qualifications & Experience : M.Sc in Chemistry with minimum 60% aggregate marks are eligible to appear. Candidate must be conversant with synthetic techniques.

Fellowship : 15,000/-

The selected fellow will be appointed initially for Six months and the tenure may be extended for another six months, based on the performance for the subsequent period. All appointments are terminated with end of the project. Candidate may be admitted into PhD program as per institutional rules and regulations.

The walk in interview will be held in 25th April 2019, Time 12.30 pm. At the pharma conference room, DPST, Institute of Chemical Technology, Matunga, Mumbai 400019.

Selection will be based on an interview conducted by a committee. The recommendation of the committee will be final No TA/DA will be provided to appear for this interview
