The Ministry of Labour & Employment is one of the oldest and important Ministries of the Government of India. The main responsibility of the Ministry is to protect and safeguard the interests of workers in general and those who constitute the poor, deprived and disadvantage sections of the society, in particular, with due regard to creating a healthy work environment for higher production and productivity and to develop and coordinate vocational skill training and employment services. Government’s attention is also focused on promotion of welfare and providing social security to the labour force both in organized and unorganized sectors, in tandem with the process of liberalization. These objectives are sought to be achieved through enactment and implementation of various labour laws, which regulate the terms and conditions of service and employment of workers. The State Governments are also competent to enact legislations, as labour is a subject in the concurrent list under the Constitution of India.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of the following vacant posts available under Labour Welfare Organization, Bhubaneswar Region, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Post : Pharmacist
No of Posts : 04 (UR-1, SC-2, ST-1)
Pay Level (7th CPC) : Level -7
Age limit : 18 to 25 years as on closing date of the receipt of applications. (Relaxable for SC/ST/ OBC candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Deptt. of Personnel & Training from time to time in this regard)
Educational qualification
+2 or equivalent and should be a Registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
How to apply
Applications in the prescribed format (given below), duly filled in (in Hindi or English) and completed in all respect, supported with self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications with mark sheets, certificate of experience and caste certificate (in case of reserved category) issued by the competent authority, should reach this office within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News.
The envelope containing the application must be superscribed as "Application for the post of (post applied for)" should be sent through Regd. Post/Speed Post/Courier Post only to this office. The applicants for the post of Driver should enclose a self-attested photocopy of valid driving license. The candidate holding any job at present should attach "No Objection Certificate" issued from the concerned Employer.
Incomplete application or applications received after the due date will not be entertained. Date of Written Test/ Skill test/ Venue will be intimated to the candidates in due course. The Welfare Commissioner, Bhubaneswar reserves all right to cancel/postpone/ modify this notification without assigning any reason thereof.
