Job Profile
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to independently design, execute in-vitro transporters/ADMET studies, troubleshoot, interpret the data and communicate to the team to support drug discovery in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a good understanding of the role of transporters in drug disposition and toxicity, preclinical ADME, and basic knowledge on PK parameters. Hands on experience with transporters is a plus for this position.
It will be a lab based position, where the candidate is expected to spend 60% of her/his time in the laboratory. Strong problem solving and thinking capabilities will be needed for this position.
The position starts as an individual contributor, based on his/her capabilities can be given management responsibilities later.
One of the most important aspect is the person should be a good collaborator, communicator with emotional intelligence. He/she has to work in a highly collaborative environment both within BBRC and across BMS teams.
Regular communication must be maintained and improved upon with BMS counterparts.
Project support will be first priority along with exploratory works. The candidate is expected to be able to write publications based on his/her work.
Skills Set:-
• Prior hands on exposure in drug transporter field is preferred
• In vitro DMPK knowledge is important
• Strong background in enzyme kinetics
• Hands on experience in cell culture
• Strong written and verbal communication.
