Job for Life Science professionals for the post of Scientific Officer at KSBB

Kerala State Biodiversity Board is an autonomous body of the State Government and come under the Kerala State Environment Department. With the Head Quarter at Thiruvananthapuram the Board falls under the provision of the Biological Diversity Act 2002, Rules 2004 and Kerala State Biological Diversity Rules 2008.The KSBB is dedicated into conservation and protection of the agro, plant and fish diversity of the State. The Board is headed by a Chairman, a Member Secretary and followed by a team of expert Government officials, leading the Board in its all vibrant activities.

Applications are called for from eligible Government servants for filling up of the following posts in the Kerala State Biodiversity Board on deputation basis.

Principal Scientific Officer : 2 posts
Qualification:
1. Ph.D. Degree in Life Science from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
2. Minimum 5 years experience as Scientist B in Life Sciences in a Scientific Institution or 5 years experience as Assistant Professor in Life Science in a College recognized by an Indian University or in a University recognized by the UGC.

Scientific Officer : 1 post
Qualification:
M.Sc. in any Life Science preferably in Botany, Zoology, Marine Biology, Environment Science or Fisheries awarded by any University, and minimum four years experience as Scientist/ Experienced guest lecturers as per UGC norms/ in charge of a project in any Institution of repute on subjects pertaining to Biodiversity.

Age: Below 40 years as on 01.01.2018
