Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an institution of national importance, created by an Act of Parliament, established by Government of India through the Department of Biotechnology under the auspices of UNESCO. RCB has emerged as a pioneering institute for research in Biotechnology and is defining new horizons in providing world-class education, training and research at the interface of multiple disciplines for the benefit of mankind.

Title of Project: Mechanism of rapid propagation of dengue virus during infection.
Duration: Initially for 1 year, may be extended on annual evaluation.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. or any other equivalent course in Biotechnology with at least 60% marks.
Preferable Qualifications: NET or any national level JRF eligibility test qualified. Desirable: Prior experience in hematology, immunology, molecular biology and microbiology techniques including cell culture, PCR array, gene sequencing, immunoblotting and flow cytometry.
Principal investigator: Dr. Prasenjit Guchhait, Professor.
Fellowship : Rs 25000 + 30% HRA per month as per DBT guidelines.
