JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist shall perform all duties necessary in the daily operation of the pharmacy department. These include computer operations, unit dose distribution, intravenous admixture, narcotic distribution, inventory control, drug information, clinical services, extemporaneous compounding, outpatient services, and special projects as assigned.
Candidate Profile
• Pharmacy degree (Bachelors or Pharm. D.) from an accredited College of Pharmacy required
• Three to five years of experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
• Communication skills necessary to interact with all level of hospital personnel and others outside the organization
• Must be knowledgeable in all hospital and pharmacy polices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Registered pharmacist in the State of Michigan with a current controlled substance license
