Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) is a not-for-profit research institute that aims to conduct innovative research in unifying areas of chemistry, biology and chemical biology. We currently have a career opportunity for a Project Leader in Molecular Modeling of Computer-Aided Drug Design, starting Q2-2011.

Post : Research Associate

Fellowship: Rs. 36000/- per month + @20%HRA

Eligibility and Selection:
Ph.D. in any branch of Biological Sciences. Working knowledge in molecular biology and at least one first author paper from the Ph.D work is necessary. Candidates having experience in cell biology or FACS or handling mice or bioinformatics, as evidenced from their publication(s) will be given priority. One page write-up of the thesis work and a copy of your CV (with two referees) must be provided along with the application. Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an interview process.

The position is initially for one year and will be extended for one more year upon satisfactory performance.
