Applications are invited from eligible Academic & Research Staff of the Institute in the areas of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology for faculty positions.

The Institute intends to fill up the following posts at Mesra campus and its off-campuses located in India.

Post: Assistant Professor

Pay Band: Rs.15600-39100/-

AGP: Rs. 6000/-

Pharmaceutical Sciences

Qualification: i. Essential:
1. A basic degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm).
2. Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.
3. First Class Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy
ii. Desirable:
1. Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; and
2. 2. Papers presented at Conferences and / or in refereed journals.
iii. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in the Regulations, 2013 (2nd Amendment).

The candidates who have been awarded with a Ph. D. Degree must ensure that the awarded degree is in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009.
Before applying, candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and ensure that he/she fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria of post stated in the advertisement in all respect as on last date for receipt of applications i.e. 21.04.2015.
Separate application forms along with API score card, Demand Draft, copies of certificates and testimonials as required need to be sent for different posts for candidates desirous of applying more than one post. Candidates should apply in the prescribed format only for this recruitment.

Candidates will be interviewed only after scrutiny of education & experience certificate. Eligibility of a candidate with regard to qualification and experience shall be calculated/ considered with reference to the last date of the receipt for application.
The Institute reserves the right to screen and call only such candidates as is found prima-facie suitable for being considered by the Screening Committee. Thus, just fulfilling the prescribed conditions would not entitle one to be called for interview.
