H. R. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research started functioning in year in 2004 with a wide mission to impart high quality Pharmaceutical Education through innovative and interactive learning process for enlistment of their social image as well as help them to withstand in global competitive environment. The Institute with modern infrastructure comprises of several class rooms, tutorial rooms, conference hall, administration office, medicinal Garden, well equipped laboratories, all of which are built in accordance to the norms of AICTE & PCI New Delhi.
About the Department
The Department of Pharmaceutics and Quality Assurance at the HRPIPER has a rich tradition of modernization and advancement of health through new knowledge. Our faculty members are continuously making significant contributions to enhancing drug delivery. The department conducts cutting edge research to create and disseminate new knowledge in the pharmaceutical sciences and to provide service to society.

- From five years, consecutive winner in Avishkar research competition
- Two time winner in national level best M. Pharm. thesis competition in three categories
- Publication of books and more than 200 research articles
- Filed six patents in IPO

About ICMPR-2
On 4th March 2015, our department has organized first one day National level seminar on ‘Innovative Concepts and Methodologies in Pharmaceutical Research-1’ sponsored by Scifinder. Due to overwhelming response to ICMPR-1, this year we are pleased to announce Phoenix India Solutions sponsored second one day National level seminar on ‘Innovative Concepts and Methodologies in Pharmaceutical Research-2’.
The event is specially planned for budding researchers/research scholars working on nanomedicines and nanotechnology with special emphasis on particle size, zeta potential and stability of nano-formulations. The event will cover theoretical aspects as well as demonstration of various sophisticated instruments used for fabrication/characterization of nano-formulations.
