Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CLPT) is situated in Lam, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, 3 kilometers from Guntur Town en route to Amaravati. Established in 2004, the institute stands as a prominent center for pharmaceutical education and research. All its programs are permanently affiliated with ANU, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), recognized by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, DSIR for SIRO activities and MSME for incubation. The institute holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, is accredited by NAAC with an "A+" grade, and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under sections 2(f) and 12B. Additionally, the B.Pharmacy program is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Since 2016, the institute has been granted autonomous status.
