The School was established in a lush green set-up of Adamas University at the Adamas Knowledge City Campus on Barasat-Barrackpore Road, Kolkata in the year 2016. SOMS is established with a vision to create and disseminate knowledge for producing quality health care professionals with global standard. Presently, the program bouquet of SOMS includes M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics), B.Pharm and D.Pharm. Striving in the path to fulfil the vision, SOMS has been regularly organizing international/ national conferences, workshops and invited lectures with the participation of eminent experts from field Academics, Research, Pharmaceutical Industries and Regulatory authorities of national and international repute. About the Conference
The pandemic era has enforced paradigm shift in multiple domains of academics and research including the field of pharmacy. In the domain of Pharmacy, spotlight is currently focused on drug discovery, drug delivery as well as on vaccine development against the deadly virus. Global scientists are continuously brainstorming to find out newer strategies to combat COVID-19 virus. Intense strategies were framed to reduce the time invested in the journey of a drug/ vaccine from lab to market. The international conference aims to draw the attention of participants from all healthcare sectors including industry, academia and drug regulatory bodies. Internationally renowned speakers from diverse fields would share their expertise and inform about the changing research scenario due to the influence of the pandemic. All the submission should contain an abstract in one page (Times New Roman, A4 format). The title should be bold followed by author's name (underlined-presenting author) and affiliations (Font size 12). Abstract text font size should be 11 and single spacing (word limit 250).
