“The Effect of Anxiety, Depression & Aggressive Behaviour on Human Health & in Society”

18th February, 2020

&

WORKSHOP on

“Practical Animal Handling”

19th February, 2020

Theme of the Seminar
Aggressive outbursts and anger attacks that are unprovoked or disproportionate to precipitating psychosocial stressors affect almost two-thirds of adolescents in the world. Such outbursts frequently involve physical violence or property destruction and contribute to widespread societal and individual harm, but may involve verbal aggression as well, and usually have out of proportion anger as a core feature. Psychopathologies such as anxiety-and depression - related disorders are often characterized by impaired social behaviors including excessive aggression and violence. Excessive aggression and violence likely develop as a consequence of generally disturbed emotional regulation, such as abnormally high or low levels of anxiety. This suggests an overlap between brain circuitries and neuro chemical systems regulating aggression and anxiety.
• The mental health of teenagers has sharply declined in the last 25 years and the chances that 15-year-olds will have behavioral problems such as lying, stealing and being disobedient, have more than doubled. The rate of emotional problems such as anxiety & depression has increased by 70% among adolescents, according to the biggest time trend study conducted in India.
• The seminar aims to acknowledge, students about the outcomes of Anxiety, Depression and Aggressive Behavior on Human Health, its Prevention and management in order to make an individual happy & prosperous, which will make in larger context our society and country more prosper & happiest in the world.
