ABOUT PROGRAMME
ISF College of Pharmacy is offering an interactive short term training programme on target based drug design strategies and synthesis utilising CADD tools and microwave assisted greener approach. The short term training programme will develop faculty skills in developing new molecules using these newer eco-friendly techniques and is going to be held from 18th March 2020 to 23rd March 2020 in ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga (Punjab). The theme of the programme cum workshop is "TARGET BASED DRUG DESIGN STRATEGIES UTILISING CADD TOOLS AND ECOFRIENDLY MICROWAVE ASSISTED GREEN SYNTHESIS".

18th - 23rd March 2020
The aim is to provide lectures and hands on training on following topics:
• An Introduction to Green Chemistry & Engineering to Pharmaceuticals
• Understanding the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry
• Applications of Green Chemistry
• Greening Your Research
• Green Catalysis
• Reduction in waste generation
• Design of chemicals, novel chemistries, synthetic pathways, and processes that enable a circular, more sustainable economy.
• Computer Aided drug design.
• Target based drug design and discovery.
The workshop will cover the hands-on training on microwave synthesizer, quantitative analysis through FT-IR, HPTLC, Docking studies, in silico ADMET analysis etc.
Eligibility for Registration
Faculty members/Researcher/Post Graduates are working in AICTE/PCI Affiliated Institutes eligible to participle in six days STTP sponsored by AITCE.
• No registration fee for participants.
• No charges for accommodation and Hospitality.
• One time TA/DA shall be given from working place to ISFCP
