Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy was established under the aegis of the Al-Ameen Educational Society in the year 1982, since then the college has been a nurturing ground for pharmacy professionals. In recognition of the excellence of its educational standards, Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy has been accredited for 5 years by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and AICTE. In keeping with its objective of providing the best possible pharmacy education, the college constantly strives to maintain a strong infrastructure with modern labs, instruments, equipments and other amenities comprising of highly knowledgeable faculty most of whom hold doctorates and facilities that enable students to gain a contemporary education. Continuous interaction with industry is maintained to ensure that the learning program remains relevant to the changing trends in the field of pharmacy. The college is constantly seeking to upgrade the quality of its education and actively participates in research to remain on the cutting edge. The college holds several collaborations with foreign universities and many more are also being planned with this objective. Plans are also afoot to establish pilot manufacturing and testing units to enable students to gain an even more hands-on education. The college through continuous up- gradation is endeavoring to become a ‘Continuous Education Center’, where new knowledge pertaining to the pharma field is generated on a regular basis.

About ALPHACON
ALPHACON-2017 is a national conference organized and hosted by Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru. The main objective of the conference is to provide a platform for pharmacy professionals to overcome their challenges, interact and exchange current information in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
The affliction of emerging health disorders and increasing drug failure at an alarming rate stimulates the demand for drug discovery and development. As research is integrating various disciplines, this conference mainly aims to bring experts from various pharma sectors to help the academicians, researchers and young scientists to upgrade to the rapid changing advancements in the field of research and development.

For every group registration (consisting of 15 participants), one registration fee will be waved off Only registered delegates will be allowed to attend the conference. Genesis: Genesis is an objective type quiz competition consisting of 50 MCQs lasting for about 60mins. Students from UG & PG courses are eligible
Impulse
Impulse is an open quiz competition where participants in groups of 3 compete against each other. There will be 4 rounds in the quiz. Participation is restricted to one group from each college.
Note: Best performances will be awarded.
Pharma Expo & Pharma ConClave
The ALPHACON-2017 will have an exclusive pharma exhibition (Pharma Expo-2017) organized by Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy. More than 15 stalls will be setup and will serve as a perfect platform for various exhibitors globally to showcase their advancement in the field of pharmaceutical research and development. We would also like to introduce a placement drive (Pharma Conclave-2017)* assisting various Indian Pharmaceutical Industries to provoke job opportunities.
