Gilead Sciences, Inc, a biopharmaceutical company, announced detailed 48-week results from two large phase 3 clinical trials (Studies 108 and 110) evaluating once-daily tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) 25 mg in treatment-naïve and treatment-experienced adults with HBeAg-negative and HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. Data were presented this week during two oral sessions (GS06 and GS12) at The International Liver Congress 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.

Require Pharmacists & Pharmacy Aides at Bharat Vikas Parishad Generic Medical Shop

Parishad has set up a network of centres providing generic medicines to the public in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. These are named “Bharat Vikas Sanjeevani Generic Medical Shops”. During 2014-15, two more centres were added to the existing centres to bring the total number of generic medicine centres to 13. These centres provide more than 350 medicines at very low rates compared to other commercial medical shops. This project also supports Mobile Medical Van which provides free services of qualified doctor, pharmacist and generic medicines in the selected slum areas. The generic medicine programme has led to their usage by Trust run Hospitals and BVP sponsored medical camps.
