Mizoram University was established on 2nd July 2001 by the Mizoram University Act, 2000 which appeared in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) on 25th April, 2000 as a Central University having His Excellency, the President of India as its Visitor.

Mangalayatan University (MU) has been created under the "Mangalayatan University, Uttar Pradesh Act" and notified by the Government of Uttar Pradesh as Act No. 32 of 2006, by its Gazette No. 362/VII-V-1-1(Ka)-12/2006 dated October 30, 2006, with the right to confer degrees under section (2f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act. Established in 2006, MU was founded with the vision of providing high quality education to students that would equip them with skills to differentiate themselves in today’s fast changing world.

SAL Institute of Pharmacy (SALIP) situated in SAL Education campus was established in June-2009 under the aegis of Adarsh Foundation with a view of educating and training young talented students of Gujarat at the field of Pharmacy.
