Following posts are to be filled purely on temporary and contract basis under the project entitled “Analysis of in vivo transcriptome of Plasmodium falciparum from Indian patients suffering from cerebral malaria and its comparison with that from patients infected with severe malaria (with MOD symptoms)” at RMRCT, Jabalpur.

Number of Post: Two Posts
Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Human Genetics/Microbiology with minimum two years research experience.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in Molecular/Immunological techniques such as PCR, DNA sequencing and ELISA. Knowledge in data analysis software. Proficiency in computers.
Age limit: Below 35 years
Consolidated monthly pay in Rs.: 18000/- plus 20% HRA
Period of project appointment: One year
Work responsibility: Will be responsible for field and laboratory work related to the project. Job involves research in tribal areas of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Selected candidates are required to work in the laboratories as well as in field areas. Age will be relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per rules.
Age and qualifications may also be relaxed in deserving cases. The posts are purely temporary till the duration of the project. The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR. No TA/DA will be paid for attending walk-in-interview.
