Tasks
The incumbent will be responsible and accountable for setting and advancing the academic strategy in line with the objectives of the academy besides developing and sustaining appropriate structures for management, consultation, decision-making and communication with staff and students. As an active member of the Faculty Executive Board, this position will contribute to the overall leadership and management of the Academy.

Consolidated Pay: Salary commensurate with qualification, age and experience. Initial appointment on Fixed Term Contract shall be for a period of 3 to 5 years extendable on need basis and depending on the performance of the candidate

Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Science / Ph.D in Engineering / Ph.D in Management / Ph.D in Medicine

Experience Essential: Minimum 20 years of experience in the academic field, of which 5 years must be as Head / Dean of an academic institute of repute.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to lead, manage and develop a team of academicians and professors, conceptualise and design courses, obtain accreditation / recognition from University / other regulatory agencies, collaborate with top Universities / Institutes within and outside India
