National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an ‘Institute of National Importance’. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.
Post: Faculty Positions
NIPER- Ahmedabad invites application for faculty positions (On Contract) in the following areas:
Medical Devices
Medicinal Chemistry
Pharmaceutical Analysis
Pharmacology and Toxicology
Candidate should have a strong academic background and understanding of current developments in the related field. Faculty members are expected to carry out research, engage in institution development and conduct training programme and consultancy. Salary will not be a constraint for right candidate.
Period of Engagement: Above positions are on contract basis initially for one year which can be renewed further on mutual consent and requirement.
Minimum Qualification: Ph.D or equivalent in relevant branch with good academic background. Preference will be given to experienced persons however fresh Ph.D holders are encouraged to apply.
