Job Description:
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Support the compliance functions in the EMEA region. This may include both regional and country aspects of the business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Acquire knowhow in specific compliance areas as determined by the EMEA and GSS management
Search and evaluate data for new products to determine their regulatory status in relevant areas (e.g. drug precursors, ozone depleters, dual use goods etc)
Assign HTS codes
Assign transport classifications
Review customer data to determine the eligibility to purchase a product
Support the purchasing function in compliance related matters
Support the reporting process by handling SAP data in MS Access
Creation / Maintenance of SOPs related to compliance
Support compliance projects on a country, regional or global level

Candidate Profile:
Education:University degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology) M.Sc preferred
Experience: 5 to 8 years Practical experience in compliance an advantage.
