An Associate Institute of the University of Hyderabad, the Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) is a not-for-profit institute that aims to conduct innovative research in unifying areas of chemistry, biology and chemical biology. Our goal is to create and foster a research culture where chemists and biologists work together to generate original ideas, and generate experimental data which can lead to novel therapies for human disease and an improvement in quality of life. Applications are invited for the Research Associate position to work on research project: Small molecular inhibitors targeting essential enzymes like chorismate mutase and other validated targets
Post: Research Associate- One number
Minimum Qualification: M. Pharm /M.Sc. in Pharmacology or Biology from a recognized university/institute with minimum 2 years of experience. The person should have good training in Protein Purification, Molecular Biology and assay development for small molecules.
Fellowship: Rs.20,800/ month ( inclusive of all)
Duration: one year with further extension for one more year subject to continuation of project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
No claim should be made for the extrapolation of this work into PhD program now or later.
