Delhi State Cancer Institute (DSCI) is a dedicated, autonomous institution under the Government of NCT of Delhi established under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. The institution is coming up fast with an aim to provide comprehensive and integrated facilities for treatment of cancer with latest technology and equipments with motto of “providing care as per convenience of the patients”. For this purpose, the Institute has established a modern infrastructure and has installed latest, 'state-of-the-art’ equipments in imaging, laboratory, clinical oncology and surgical oncology & ICU sections with 100-bedded indoor facilities. Bone Marrow Transplant and Nuclear Imaging Facilities including PET-CT and Gamma Camera and Research Setup are in the pipeline.

To achieve the above aims and to expand its services further for the patients, the Institute is looking for some more young, dynamic and dedicated professionals with upright credentials in different fields, who have the capability to contribute in their respective fields; who are willing to take up the challenge and who can work as a cohesive team towards growth of the Institute. The Institute shall provide a pragmatic, congenial and unrestricted environment with unlimited opportunity for professional growth to those who honestly and actively contribute towards patients care and towards overall growth of the Institute as envisaged in its Aims and Objective.

Qualifications:
Essential: i) Sr Secondary or Intermediate with Science or equivalent. (ii) Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institution or university (iii) Registered with State Pharmacy Council. (iv) Proficiency in computers for management of inventory etc.
Desirable: Post Graduation in Pharmacy .

Experience: i). 01 year post qualification experience of working in a large, reputed multi speci ality hospital for Diploma in Pharmacy

PLEASE NOTE:
(1) The number of posts in various categories can vary at the time of final selection.
(2) Some of the short-listed candidates may be kept in a panel for appointment against expected vacancies in near future.
(3) Reservation of posts under various categories as well as age relaxation etc shall be applicable as per Govt. Rules.
(4) Candidates claiming OBC/SC/ST/any other reservation benefits MUST process valid certificate acceptable underthe rules of the Govt, of NCT of Delhi
(5) Candidates belonging to Medical fields must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council forthe qualifications processed by them.
(6) Candidates employed in Govt/Semi Govt/PSU/Autonomous Organisations or those desiring to join DSCI on deputation should sent their application through proper channel indicating whether they would like to be considered for deputation or for direct recruitment at this Institute. They may submit an advance copy of their applications, but concurrence by the present employer to relieve within one month, if selected, must be produced at the time of Interview.
(7) Higher start in salary in the given pay scale or appointment to a higher post (like Associate Professor, in the corresponding pay as per the pay scales prevailing at AIIMS) could be considered for outstanding candidates having longer &/or special experience and found exceptionally well-qualified and eligible for the higher pay/post by the Selection Committee of the Institute.

Fee of Rs. 200/-(Rs. 50/-for SC/ST category) in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Delhi State Cancer Institute, payable at Delhi must be submitted in the Office of the Institute by the LAST DATE I.E. 31TH OCTOBER 2013 For NRI Candidates 15th Nov.,2013

METHOD OF SELECTION:
(1) The Institute reserves the right to shortlist the eligible candidates for various categories on the basis of the qualification/experience documents submitted by them.
(2) The candidates shortlisted at the first level MAY have to undergo a written test for further short listing.
(3) Candidates may be asked to make a power point presentation about their profile and about their vision in their respective fields.
(4) Final selection would be based upon the personal interview of the candidates in front of a duly constituted Selection Board of the Institute.
(5) Candidates not willing to contribute to the growth of the Institute, those not having leadership qualities or those not willing to accept the challenge NEED NOT APPLY.
(6) The decision of the Institute regarding selection of the candidates shall be final and binding
Candidates for Senior Residency, who possess 3 yrs professional experience in the concerned speciality but have not passed MD/DNB examination may also apply for consideration.
