Applications are invited on a plain paper for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Chemistry, MNIT Jaipur for a research project entitled “Development of Novel Artificial Naked Eye Fluoride ion Receptors” funded by Department of Science and Technology, (GOI). The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates those who have completed their M.Sc. in Chemistry/Medicinal/ Pharmaceutical with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.75 on a 10 point scale or equivalent as determined by the institute where letter grades are awarded; or 60% marks where marks awarded. Candidates who have passed NET/SLET or have a valid GATE score will be preferred.
Duration of the Project: Three years (as per the duration of the project) with an initial appointment for one year, and subsequently renewable for two more years after performance evaluation.
Fellowship: Rs 14,400/- p.m. for 1st two years and Rs. 16,800/- p.m. for the third year.

Interview: Interview will be held tentatively in the 3rd week of November, 2013 at the office of Head, Department of Chemistry, MNIT, Jaipur. Shortlisted candidates will be informed only by e-mail/Mobile. No separate letter will be issued for the interview. Candidates should appear for the interview alongwith their original certificates.
