Essential Qualifications : For Scientist Position-PhD (submitted) in any branch of Biological Sciences. For Senior Scientist Position-PhD in any branch of Biological Sciences with 2 years post doctoral research experience in any area of biotechnology with special emphasis on stem cell research.
Desirable: Working knowledge in hematopoietic/leukomic stem cells and modeling cancer in mice systems.
Job requirement: The selected candidate is required to work independently as well as in teams and interact effectively with other groups and collaborators inside and outside of the institute in the above area and other groups and collaborators inside and outside of the institute in the above area and other related institutional research programs.
Age Limit: 32 years for Scientist and 37 years for Senior Scientist.
Pay Band: Rs. 15,600-39,100/-
Grade Pay: Rs. 6,600/- or Rs. 7,600. The Selection Committee depending upon the performance of the candidate my choose to place the candidate in any of the Grade Pay within the Pay Band subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criterion specified.
