CSIR - Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh desires to engage Research Associate/Senior Project Fellows/Project Fellows on purely temporary basis on contract under CSIR Network projects/ DBT projects at IMTECH. However, the number of positions may vary depending upon the requirement of the Institute. The Institute also wishes to draw a Panel of Research Interns under “CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Interns Award Scheme” to attract young and brilliant candidates to demonstrate their interest in Scientific Research as well as for qualifying and securing other research fellowships. Panel will be operative for a maximum period of one year from the date of interview.

The position is purely on temporary on Contract basis for a period of one year. Contract may be terminated any time by giving one month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any CSIR post.
Reservation: As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates may be given preference over General candidates so as to ensure their representation.
Such of the candidates who fulfils the eligibility conditions may please Walk-in for-interview on 18, 19 Nov., 2013 (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday) at 9:30 A.M.(Sharp) in the Seminar Hall of this Institute (CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology, Sector-39/A, Chandigarh-160036) along with complete bio-data in the prescribed format (to be downloaded from IMTECH website) duly signed and enclosing attested photocopies of certificates/testimonials in support of date of birth, qualification/ experience etc. and two passport size photographs.
