Post: Senior Manager-QA (Biologics) - HC/JC/3166/2013

Job Description:
The role is responsible for the quality oversight of biological production units and quality management within the production site. This role ensures that the quality strategy is implemented and that there is a continuous drive to improve product and process quality within the production unit.
1. Oversee the Manufacturing QA operations.
2. Lead the process related Quality subgroup and be responsible for process validations.
3. Lead and develop the production site Quality Assurance team ensuring GMP compliance and continuous quality improvement.
4. Manage the implementation of Biocon Quality Manual and Biocon policies throughout the production site to ensure quality processes are maintained to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
5. Ensure consistency of quality related processes and procedures within the site
6. Drive the GMP operations team to continuously improve quality management. Ensure preparation and delivery of relevant Validation Plans.
7. Act as a role model in accordance with the Biocon values and leadership standards

Skills:
1.M.Sc or PhD in Life Sciences (Biotech preferred) and related experience (Biopharmaceutical and or sterile manufacturing)
2.Minimum 10 years’ experience in Biotech (Biotech Manufacturing/Development) thereof min 5 years in Quality Assurance/Operations. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in leading a team.
