IICB Institute was established in 1935 as the first non official centre in India for biomedical research and was included within the aegis of CSIR in 1956.

Tenure of the Project: Six(6) months.
Name of the PI/Co-PI: Dr. Nakul C. Maiti.
Qualification required: M.Sc in Chemical Science with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal. OR M. Pharm or equivalent degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with at least 60% marks (Experience is mandatory for M.Sc Candidates).
Required Experience: Candidates should have two years of post M.Sc research experience. However, preference will be given those having research experience in the area of Organic/ Biophysical Chemistry/ Molecular docking and drug design.
Age Limit: 32 Years
Stipend: Rs.18,000/- p.m. + HRA as per admissible.
Terms & Conditions: The engagement is purely temporary and, therefore, does not confer any right / claim implicit or explicit for regularization or absorption against any IICB / CSIR post. The age and qualifications will be reckoned as on the date of interview. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC / ST / OBC / PH and women candidates as per rules.
