Indian Immunologicals invites Production Executive- Blending, Formulation

The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) set up Indian Immunologicals Ltd. (IIL) in 1982 with the objective of making Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine available to farmers at an affordable price. The technology for FMD vaccine manufacture was obtained from M/s. Wellcome Foundation Limited, United Kingdom. The plant in Hyderabad today has a capacity to make 80 million trivalent doses of FMD vaccine. Following the successful introduction of Foot &Mouth Disease Vaccine-Raksha, IIL launched the tissue culture vaccine "Raksharab" in 1989. This was the first Indian tissue culture vaccine in the market. Subsequently IIL has developed many biologicals through its own R&D efforts and launched several vaccines in the Indian market at affordable prices.

Job Description:
Individual with experience in manufacturing of vaccines. Individual should have experience in cGMP manufacturing facility. The individual needs to have both knowledge and working experience of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in Formulation, Blending, and Packing & Labeling activity.
• Work in a team-based environment, Individual is expected to work in laboratory, generate and follow lab protocols,. In addition, he will be involved with documentation of batch manufacturing records, reports and cGMP related documents.
•Individual should have a strong scientific background, a post graduate degree in biotechnology/ microbiology/ related field, and at least 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
•Result oriented individual, with ability to work in cross- functional teams, and achieve objectives in a timely manner that meets Production targets based on market requirement.
•Applicant should have the ability to work under minimal supervision, and ability to think with originality.
•The job may require work in shifts.
