IICB Institute was established in 1935 as the first non official centre in India for biomedical research and was included within the aegis of CSIR in 1956.

Qualification required: M.Sc in Bioinformatics / B.Tech in Biotechnology / B.Pharm with at least 55% marks and Bioinformatics / Pharmacoinformatics as one subject.
Desirable Experience: An exposure to computational analysis of genome sequence.
Age Limit: 28 Years
Stipend: Rs.16,000/- plus HRA.
