National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), formerly known as Institute for Research in Reproduction is a premier research institute of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It is situated in the vicinity of a number of hospitals and research institutes in central Mumbai. Scientist – I
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 33,306/- + HRA Rs. 6300/- p.m
Essential Qualification:
1st Class Master’s degree in Bioinformatics / Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology from a recognized university
or
2nd Class Master’s degree in Bioinformatics / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology + Ph.D. degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
Desirable:
Doctorate in relevant subject with 1 st Class master’s degree
Two years research experience in related subject in reputed Institutes.
Publication in peer reviewed journals
Knowledge of computer application / data management
Duration: One year
Scientist – II
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 41,396/- + HRA Rs. 6660/- pm
Essential Qualification:
(i) 1st Class Master’s degree in Bioinformatics / Life Sciences / Biochemistry/Biotechnology / Microbiology from a recognized university
or
2nd Class Master’s degree in Bioinformatics / Life Sciences + Ph.D. degree in relevant subject from a recognized university
(ii) Four years R&D experience in the related subject after obtaining essential qualification (i)
In case of non-availability of Scientist – II the post will be filled as Scientist-I with essential qualification mentioned for Scientist-I position above.
Desirable:
Doctorate in related subject with 1 st class Master’s degree
Additional Post-doctoral research experience in relevant subject
Publication in peer reviewed journals
Knowledge of computer application / data management
Duration: One year
