MAFSU was formally notified on November 17th, 2000 and was established under the State Act No. 1998 (MAH.XVII of 1998) on December 03rd, 2000 with its headquarter at Nagpur. The University has been carved out of the four Agriculture Universities in the state by transferring five Veterinary Colleges, one Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary & Animal Sciences and one Dairy Technology College. Although the University is in its infancy, the constituent colleges were quite old.
Post: Senior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow for the research project on Outreach Programme on “Monitoring of Drug Residues and Environmental Pollutants” at Bombay Veterinary College, Parel, Mumbai 400012. The said appointment will be purely on temporary basis and initially for the financial year 2013-14, which may be continued in next financial year/s.
Salary: Rs. 18,000/- (no extra allowances)
Qualification: M.V.Sc. Pharmacology (preferred) or M.V.Sc., FHPH / M.Pharm in Pharmacology (first class with distinction.)
Interested candidates shall appear for interview on their own (No TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for interview) in the chamber of undersigned on 21/06/2013 at 11.30 am along with application and brief bio - data in the enclosed proforma (appendix ‘A’). At the time of Interview candidate must bring all original documents. (Verification of documents: 10.00am, Walk in Interview at 11.30 hrs).
The appointment will be purely on temporary basis and may be terminated with one month notice from either side.
The appointment under this advertisement will not confer any right on the part of the candidate for any permanent appointment in the College/University. Selected candidate has to join within TEN days from the date of the appointment order.
The selected candidate should be prepared to work at the place where project is located as well as to carry out field work/ survey/sample collection/ laboratory work in the jurisdiction of University.
Candidate selected will have to submit an undertaking on bond paper of Rs. 100/ - stating no claims for regularization or continuation of services in the University by virtue of this temporary appointment after expiry of his/her appointment period or termination of scheme whichever is earlier.
