Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), is a Dept. of Biotechnology (Govt. of India) initiative and a not for profit organisation, that also forms an important part of the Bangalore Bio-cluster. We are acting as an enabler of bioscience research and entrepreneurship by providing research, development, training and service in state of the art technology platforms.
C-CAMP is envisioned to be a major platform technology, industry-interaction and incubator unit. Considering the vacuum that is present at the interface of academia and industry, such an organization is much needed in the country to be able to assure the success of scientific talent.
Desirable:
Candidate with hands on experience in mass spectrometry based proteomics (sample preparation, acquisition and interpretation of data and quantitative proteomics) using LC-MS/MS. However, highly motivated candidates willing to learn will also be considered.
Essential: Candidates should have good understanding of protein chemistry, proteomics, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. He/she should have good interpersonal and communication skills and willing to work as a team.
Qualifications:
We are seeking for highly motivated candidates in the field of proteomics. Applicants should have M.Sc. /B. Tech in any discipline of life sciences. Experience in Mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography is preferred.
Duties: Writing SOP, sample preparation for proteomics, data acquisition and interpretation, maintenance and handling of LC and MS instruments.
