Further to the Employment Notice No:ECL/CMD/C-6/Recruit./Gen/12/217 dated 29/10/2012 for the following posts published on 01-12-2012 in Employment News, The Telegraph(Kolkata), Anand Bazar Patrika (Kolkata), Prabhat Khabar (Kolkata) , Dainik Jagran ( Ranchi ) and ECL website(easterncoal.gov.in) and corrigendum vide Ref.No:ECL/CMD/C-6/GM(P&IR)/12/425 dated 04-01-2013, it is notified that the minimum educational qualification / eligibility criteria for the said posts stand modified as under:-
Post: Compounder/Pharmacist T&S Gr. 'C'
The name of the post should be read as ‘Pharmacist(T)’ In T&S Gr.’C’.
Salary: Rs.19035.02 PM
No. of Vacancies: Total 83 [Gen-43, OBC- 22, SC-12, ST-6]
Note : The no. of vacancies may be modified(increased or decreased) The above posts carry VDA, allowances & fringe benefits as per National Coal Wage Agreement IX.
Qualification:
10+2 with science /Diploma in Pharmacy registered with Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act.1948 with valid registration.
The Diploma in Pharmacy referred to above should be recognized/approved by the Pharmacy Council/Central/State.
Note:- In earlier notification the minimum qualification was Matriculation plus Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized Institute /approved by the Government plus 2(two) years practical training. However, qualification/eligibility criteria has been modified as 10+2 with science in place of matriculation and condition of 2 (Two) years practical training has been deleted. Hence, now the candidates having 10+2 with science and Diploma in pharmacy registered with Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act.1948 with valid registration will only be eligible.
