Opportunity Profile:
We are currently recruiting for a seasoned production manager to oversee the 3rd shift production operations for transdermal manufacturing. The Manager/Sr Manager is responsible for management of all 3rd shift staff to include all production, scheduling, equipment, related maintenance, EH&S, human relations, and communication processes. The Manager/Sr Manager will utilize analytical and troubleshooting skills to analyze problems, initiate investigations and identify corrective actions. The manager performs job functions in a highly regulated industry in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines; compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations; Standard Test Methods (STM); and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). In addition, the position will address problems that occur during production, including problems with product, raw materials, equipment, and/or employees, and act to preserve product quality while minimizing unnecessary downtime. The Manager/Sr Manager will serve as a leader and mentor for staff while managing head count, coordinating staff movement between lines, arranging for training of new and/or transferred staff as well as cross-training of staff to provide a flexible, trained and prepared work force. The Manager/Sr Manager will also work with management from other shifts to identify best practices and revise and implement associated procedures to assure consistent practices among all shifts. The position will be filled at the appropriate level (Manager or Sr Manager) of the identified candidate based on their skills and experience

Qualifications
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5-6 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Must possess knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, packaging equipment, production floor management, computer and control systems, hardware, Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project) for scheduling, management, report generation and presentations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, numerical and reasoning skills along with well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with diverse personalities by being tactful and mature.
