This Jan Aushadhi Campaign has already started with the opening of the first Jan aushadhi store at Amritsar on 25th November 2008 with the active participation of the CPSUs namely, IDPL,HAL,BPCL,KAPL & RDPL. With the launch of the Jan Aushadhi store at Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi, on 5th February, 2009, the campaign is reaching an ambitious phase of launching of more than 45 stores in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryaa, Bihar, UP, Assam and Chattisgarh by March 2009. In fact, five Jan Aushadhi drug stores are coming up in Punjab, one each at Bhatinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala and Mohali in Februrary 2009 with additional stores opening up at Panchkula and Faridabad in Haryana very shortly.
In order to provide relief to the common man in the area of healthcare, a countrywide campaign for ensuring availability of generic medicines at affordable prices to all, in the name of “Jan Aushadhi “ has been initiated by the Government of India, Department of Pharmaceuticals in collaboration with the State Governments and Union Territories . For carrying forward this noble task, BPPI invites applications from energetic and enthusiastic persons to fill up the following posts:
Post: Nodal Officer (Marketing & Sales)
No. of Posts: Odisha- 2
Age Limit: Below 45 years
Minimum Qualification: B. Pharma or Graduate in Science
Experience in Relevant Field.: Minimum 5 years experience in Marketing of pharmaceutical products
Consolidated fee: Rs.25,000/- * (all inclusive)
* Deserving candidate can be considered for higher fee
The selected candidate will be initially engaged for a period of one year. The contract may be renewed on yearly basis based on his satisfactory performance and the need of the organization. However, the engagement can be terminated by giving 15 days notice or proportionate fee in lieu thereof from either side.
The interview of the short listed applicants will be held at BPPI headquarters at IDPL Corporate office, IDPL complex, Old Delhi Gurgaon Road, Dundahera, Gurgaon-122016 (HARYANA). The candidates must bring all original certificates/testimonials at the time of interview.
The date and time of the interview will be intimated on email. The candidates are, therefore, advised to check their email regularly after the last date of receipt of application.
The last date for receipt of applications is 22nd July, 2013. Applications received after the last date shall not be considered. BPPI will not be responsible for postal delay etc.
