National Centre for Cell Science invites Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow - Multiple posts

The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) took birth as National Tissue Culture Facility in March 11, 1986 with a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune campus, Pune.

Name of the Project: "Studies on species specificity in poxviral complement regulators' under the supervision of Dr. Arvind Sahu, Scientist F
Upper Age limit: 28 Years
Qualification & Experience Essential: M.Sc. or equivalent degree in any branch of Life Sciences with minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable: Experience in Cell and Virus Culture and Molecular Biology techniques like PCR and dotting. Preference will be given to candidates with NET/GATE/LS qualifications.
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 12,000/- + 20% HRA p.m. for 1st & 2nd Year, Rs. 14000/- + 20% HRA p.m. for 3rd Year

Desirable: Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques. Preference will be given to candidates with NET/GATE/LS qualifications.
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 14,000/- + 20% HRA p.m. for three years
Tenure: Two Years & Three Months

Qualification & Experience Essential:  M. Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks in any branch of Life Science and at least two years of post M.Sc. research experience. Desirable: Experience in Immunology & Chromatin Biology and Molecular Biology techniques. Candidate should be NET/GATE/ qualified.
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- + 20% HRA
Tenure: Three Years

For JRF Position. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified CSIR-NET/ GATE / UGC-LS examination. *Selected candidates who havequalified NET/GATE will be paid stipend of Rs. 16.000/-p.m. + HRA depending on the project sanction order. Candidates, who have LS qualifications or not qualified in any of the above mentioned examinations, if selected, will be paid stipend of Rs.12, 000/- p.m.

Upper age limit will be considered as on the date of interview. Reservations will be followed as per GOI guidelines. Age relaxation of 5 years in case of SC/ST/women/PH and 3 years in case of OBCcandidates will be given as per GOI rules.

Marks relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates i.e. minimum 50%

Please bring *Bio-data Form.doc duly filled in and all original certificates showing date of birth, qualification, statement of marks of the exam passed (10^th, 12^th,Graduation, Post-Graduation, Ph.D.) & other relevant documents along with a set of attested copies.

SC/ST candidates should produce proof of their caste certificate from appropriate authority and OBC candidates should produce latest non-creamy layer certificate in the prescribed form for claiming the reservation benefits.

No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
