National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. The Institute has progressively expanded its activities in various aspects of research on HIV and AIDS through infra-structural development, capacity building & research programmes. The present infrastructure includes the Institute housed in a 28024 sq. mtr space, residential accomadation for the staff, a power plant to ensure uninterrupted power supply and an incinerator for safe disposal of bio-waste.

Age : Up to 33 years for OBC-Non Creamy Layer
Essential Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy with 1 year Experience as a Pharmacist in a recognized Institute/reputed Hospital/reputed Pharmaceutical Company and registered with Pharmacy council of Maharashtra/India.
Desirable Qualification & Experience:
1. Masters Degree in Pharmacy with 1 year clinical trial experience in a recognized Institute/reputed Hospital/ reputed Pharmaceutical Company and registered with Pharmacy council of Maharashtra/India.
2. Diploma in Computer applications from a recognized institute.
Other Details. :
- Age relaxable by 5 years for OBC-Non Creamy Layer Govt. Servants, and OBC-Non Creamy Layer Physically handicapped Candidates subject to production of certificates from competent authorities.
- Benefits of New restructured defined Pension Scheme are admissible as per the Provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Dept. of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division) Notification No. 5/7/2003 –ECB & PR dated 22/12/2003 effective from 01/01/2004.
- Applications in the prescribed format (available in the Website and may be downloaded) and attested copies of Certificates for proof of Age/date of birth (SSC/HSC Certificate), for qualification (copy of all Degrees, all certificates courses and all mark sheets for all years), Testimonials, OBC-Non Creamy Layer Caste Certificate, for appointment under Govt. of India and Pharmacist Registration certificate & Experience Certificate and along with a Fees of Rs. 100/- (only by a demand draft and from a Nationalized Bank only) drawn in favour of The Director, NARI, Pune shall be forwarded to the Director, National AIDS Research Institute (ICMR), Plot No. 73, ‘G’ Block, Bhosari, Pune - 411 026 before the due date.
- OBC-NCL women and OBC-NCL Physically handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
- Application from Candidates working in Central / State Government or PSU should be forwarded through proper channel.
- Incomplete / late application and without copies of Certificates and without fees will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
- Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to Selection/recruitment shall be deemed as a disqualification.
- Selection will be by Competitive test and Interview. Only Short listed candidates will be called for test and further short listed candidates only will be called for the interview.
The decision of the Director, NARI will be final in this regard.
