The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is an autonomous institution supported by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The Institute is committed to advanced research addressing the basic mechanisms involved in body's defence, host-pathogen interactions and related areas with a view to contribute to the creation of an internationally competitive intellectual knowledge base as a sustainable source of innovative futuristic modalities of potential use in health care.
Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below
Post: Research Associate (Two Posts)
Name of the project & Duration of the Project: Centre for Molecular Medicine, Tenable till- 27.9.2015
Qualification: PhD in any branch of Biological sciences/Life Science
Job description / Experience:
Candidate should have good knowledge of molecular / cell biology principles and techniques. Experience in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Cell Culture Techniques/ Cell based assays is desirable.
Emoluments:
RA (I): Rs. 22,000/- per month +30% HRA (1st Slab)
RA (II): Rs. 23,000/- per month +30% HRA (2nd Slab)
RA (III): Rs. 24,000/- per month +30% HRA (3rd Slab)
Depending upon work experience
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The posts exist in sponsored projects and are purely temporary. There shall be no claim for regularisation against any core posts of the Institute.
2 The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
3 No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
4. Number of posts may vary and shall be need based. Advertisement is no commitment.
5. Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview if called for.
7. Name of three references.
