The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2005. Pharmacy education in India has advanced to the global standards. Recent GATT agreement and patent rules have given a thrust to the research and development activities leading to search for newer and active drug molecules. With this background recognizing the potential of this emerging field of Technology and to meet the growing need for well trained graduates and post graduate educated pharmacists, the management committee of NIET started the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) course in the campus of this institute in 2005 and Masters of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in 2009. Both the courses are already approved by AICTE & PCI and the institute is affiliated with Gautam Buddha Technical University (GBTU), Lucknow and Mahamaya Technical University (MTU), Noida.
